Deepak Tiwari is a Doctoral Researcher at the School of National Security Studies (SNSS), Central University of Gujarat, specializing in the strategic implications of Emerging and Disruptive Technologies (EDTs). With a multidisciplinary background combining a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with an M.A. in Defence and Strategic Studies, he bridges the gap between technical innovation and national security policy. He is a Technical Research Assistant and Assistant Public Relations Officer at CENJOWS.

Mr Deepak focuses on hypersonic weapons, quantum technologies, and AI enabled system. His research portfolio includes published work in the Scopus listed Comparative Strategy Journal and professional training in quantum sensing and communication endorsed by the DST-National Quantum Mission. Deepak’s field experience includes serving as a Research Assistant on an ICSSR-funded project focused on India’s internal security, where he conducted data analysis on state responses and insurgent dynamics. His technical proficiency spans geospatial analysis (QGIS) and advanced CAD/CAM modeling, complemented by linguistic skills in German, Hindi, and English. He is dedicated to advancing India’s strategic doctrine through the lens of modern technological warfare and maritime security.
