Colonel Ajay Kumar Rajak received his early education at Sainik School Tilaiya before joining the National Defence Academy in 1989. Following his graduation from NDA he was commissioned into the Regiment of Artillery in 1991 from IMA. Over a distinguished military career spanning more than three decades, Officer has served in a wide range of operational, staff, and administrative appointments across diverse terrains and challenging environments throughout India. His extensive experience reflects a unique blend of leadership, operational proficiency, and organisational management. During Counter Insurgency Operations, Colonel Ajay demonstrated exceptional courage, professionalism, and devotion to duty.
