Desperation-the Other Level!
The ‘N’ word
Recent media reports inform us that the Kremlin is mulling over the possible use of tactical nuclear weapons to force Ukraine into capitulation and bring the current war to a close, a war that has outrun each of the two world wars in the number of days of conflict.
This is some level of desperation that has been unprecedented to date. Many obvious reasons are being cited–complete collapse of negotiations, the unending war which is usurping the erstwhile superpower on multiple counts; slowly but steadily, and so on.
