is a serving army officer. He has served for more than 16 years in varied terrain and operations including High Altitude and Counter Insurgency in both Jammu & Kashmir and North East. He has held a staff appointment in United Nations Mission and been an instructor in National Defence Academy. An alumnus of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, he is a postgraduate in Defence and Strategic Studies from the University of Madras.
